Psalm 82
1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.

2 How long will ye judge(to judge, govern, vindicate, punish) unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. 3 Defend(to judge, govern, vindicate, punish to act as law-giver or judge or governor of God, man) F254 the poor and fatherless: do Justice( to the afflicted and needy. 4 Deliver(to escape, save, deliver, slip away ) the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

6 I have said, Ye are gods; rulers, judges 2.. divine ones 3.. angels 4.. gods 5.. (plural intensive - singular meaning) 1.. god, goddess 2.. godlike one 3.. works or special possessions of God
And all of you are sons sons (as characterisation, i.e. sons of injustice [for un- righteous men] or sons of God [for angels] of the Most High .
