A key : The keeper of the keys
has the power to open and to shut,
power and authority of various kinds.
Yahushua, questioning his disciples, Who do men say that the Son of man is? 14 And they said, Some say, John the Baptist; some, Elijah; and others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. 15 He says to them, But who do you say that I am? 16 And Simon Peter made answer and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus made answer and said to him, A blessing on you, Simon Bar-Jonah=(Truth Sent from the Spirit of the Father like the dove): because this knowledge has not come to you from flesh and blood, but from my Father in heaven. 18 And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock will my church be based, and the doors of hell will not overcome it. 19 I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatever is fixed by you on earth will be fixed in heaven: and whatever you make free on earth will be made free in heaven. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Rev 2:25
