And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did: neither had I as yet told it to the Jews not to the priest, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.
Vs17 Then said I unto them, “YE SEE the distress that we are in, how Yerusalem, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: COME, and let us build up the wall of Yahrusalem, that we be no more a reproach.”
Vs 18…the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the kings words that he had spoken to me. AND they said, “LET US RISE UP AND BUILD.” So they strengthened their hands for this good(good because it is Gods work by his hand prepared.)
Vs 19 …when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, Geshem the Arabian –descendents of Hagar, and heard it, they laughed (in opposition) to us and despised us and said, “What is this thing that ye do? Will ye rebel against the king(of Samaria)?
Vs 20 Then answered I them, and said unto them, “The God(Yah, El) of heaven, He will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build: but ye have no portion, nor right, nor memorial, in Yerusalem.
3:1 Then Eliashib, (God Restores) the high priest rose up with his brethren(family) the priests, and they builded the sheep gate( near the present St. Stephen’s gate, at the north-east corner of the Temple so called because sheep for sacrifice were brought there); they sanctified it(set apart), and set up the doors(gate hanging on hinges for future or continued use),(A Partial Restoration!)
Are you (ya) starting to get the picture? Get the point of a picture worth a 1,000 years? We the saints are riding, we are loosed and we are the spiritual temple and we are re-building the walls of salvation, of the narrow gate we ourselves will pass through... very soon…
It’s all about YAH and His plan coming quickly, NOW
And
very soon,(quickly) being knit together…
I say, “LET US RISE UP AND BUILD” for the gates of hell will not prevail and are NOW even Now, broken down and we are about to go through the last gate where the last enemy of death resides…In, through and BY FAITH!
If, you keep reading Nehemiah in, Vs 4:7…
the breaches began to be stopped = REPAIRED
and the adversaries became very wroth, and conspired all of them together to fight against Yahrusalem and to hinder(cause a miscarriage) of it. BUT in Vs 9 a prayer was made to Yah and a watch was set against them…(as a result of prayer)….

6:1…and the rest of the enemies heard that I had builded up the wall and that there was no breach left(though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)
6:2 (the alien enemies)Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me(Nehemiah), saying “Come, let us meet together…but they thought to do me mischief(capture or kill).
6: 3 And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I AM doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, while I leave it, and come down to you?”
Prayer for Strength: 6:9-12 For they all sought to Make Me Afraid, saying, “Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done.” NOW therefore O god, strengthen MY(MINE) hands. Afterward I came to the house of Shemaiah(False Prophet)…who was shut up (in prison); and he said, “let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut(CONSEAL) the doors of the temple…and lo I perceived(saw)that God had not sent him…Vs 13 …therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
Vs 15 So, the wall was finished…in 52 days and it came to pass…
